What is your approach to taking sports and action shots?
Taking great action shots is more involved than most people think. Even with today's fast cameras and high end equipment, there are a number of things to consider before aiming the camera. We do a lot of prep work before the action even starts, making decisions at each photographic moment that balance film speed, depth of field, lens choice, aperture, zoom level, and shutter speed. The right mix will result in a great shot, but without the right combination those important moments can pass right on by! Really "knowing" the sports we photograph, from an athlete's perspective, also goes a long way to getting better shots than most spectators can get.
What do you know about photo printing and processing?
We count on professional photo processing partner firms, such as FotoTime, to handle the printing and delivery of your photos. We know how to take great shots, and love to work with our customers out in the field, so we let our photo processing partner firms take care of the printing and order handling. That lets us spend more time doing what we like ... taking photos.
What if I can't find any pictures of myself or others on the site?
Sometimes technical and logistical issues come up and we can't get the shot. Other times the photos we take don't meet our high company standards for quality and clarity, and so we choose not to publish them. If we didn't get your photo, please accept our apologies.
What if I don't like the photos you took?
Don't buy any. We hope that we can take photos that exceed your expectations, but occasionally things don't turn out that way. If scheduling a make-up session is possible then we can try to make accommodations for you. Otherwise, please accept our apologies.
How long do I have to wait for my photos to arrive?
Depending on the shipping method you choose, your photos can arrive in as little as two days, or you can save some money on shipping and wait 10 to 20 days. No matter which shipping method you choose, your photos will be packaged and shipped in fold-proof protective packaging.
Is the quality of digital pictures as good as traditional 35mm film?
Yes. We use high-end professional digital cameras with a minimum resolution of 12.8-Megapixel. These cameras produce as good, and often times better quality images than traditional 35mm cameras. Our photos can be enlarged up to poster size while still delivering crisp and clear detail.
What if I don't have a credit card or would rather pay with a personal check?
No problem. Just visit our Special Orders page and let us know which imagesyou would like to have printed, and how many of each size. We will tell you how much the order will cost and where to send your check. Once we receive your check we will put the order in and get your pictures shipped out to you.The only drawback to using a check is that it may take several extra days to process your order.
Why should a Team Coach consider calling In The Zone Images for his or her team photographs?
We make the Team Photograph process about as simple as it can get. All the coach needs to do is arrange a time for us to show up, and we take care ofthe rest. The team parents will also like our service because we don't use order forms, we don't ask for minimums, and there are no obligations. We put the photos on ourweb site, and if the parents like what they see, they can order as many prints in any size they want. Have a look at our Letter To Coaches to learn more.
How is In The Zone Images any better than the other photographers in the area?
We take awesome photos, and then deliver those images to our customers at very competitive prices. Our goal is to capture moments on camera that are going to be cherished by our customers for years to come. We upload our images to the web very quickly following the event, often the same day. In addition,we provide a digital companion copy with every photo purchased. Click here toread our Value Proposition.
